Sunday Scoop 11-1-15

It was a long and tiring first week back at school last week - so why has the weekend flown by so quickly!?

Sunday again means it is time to link up with the Teaching Trio for the Sunday Scoop.

Here's my scoop this week!

A week of being on edge waiting for a drop in observations is not a fun week! I need to make sure I am extra prepared to minimise the stress in the week but can't get motivated at the moment... No doubt I will leave it till tonight then be rushing to get everything sorted!

I must also work harder to get to 10,000 steps each day. I managed it once last week and then failed at even coming close for the rest of it! I'll aim for at least 6000 each day and 10,000 on at least 3 days before Friday. I'll let you know how I get on back here next week!

One good thing is that I saw someone on IG mention their favourite book was a Veronica Mars one by Rob Thomas and was so excited! How had I missed that he had written books following on from where the film left off?! I ordered it immediately and it should be coming tomorrow - I can't wait to read it!

Don't forget to link up your scoop with the lovely Teaching Trio and to check out what everyone else has planned for the week ahead!

  1. Oh snap…. I always leave observation planning and prep until the last minute- I think that part of me knows I work best under pressure and that if I do it too far in advance then I'll only fuss with it and keep tweaking it when it doesn't really need it! I am sure everything will be fantastic but the stress of drop-ins is awful isn't it- total sympathy- here's to a successful week Xx

  2. The weekend always goes by too fast! Good luck getting your 10,000 steps! That's my goal too, but I've been struggling to get there. I've been too tired when getting home from work. If I'm able to exercise in the morning, I do much better at getting enough steps for the day.

  3. Keep up the good work with the steps, even if it's for only one or two days. Good luck with your observations!
