Monday Made it - spray paint, freebies and a giveaway!

Hello!

It's my favourite time of the week - Monday made it with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics!

This week I have some things I have been preparing for my classroom to share with you, a couple of freebies and my very first giveaway to celebrate this being my 50th post since I started my blog a few months ago! Read down to the end to enter and to make sure you get both of your freebies!

A week or so ago I said how I had been inspired by all the amazing spray painting makeovers that I had been reading about and wanted to have a go myself. I had this plain paper storage box and wanted it to fit in better in my classroom.

I gave it a coat of yellow and added clips to label what each section will be holding!

(I will be making nicer labels for those clips - don't worry!)

I then decided to paint something on the side to brighten it up a bit more! What do you think?

First freebie!

I am very squeamish and often pull faces when children in my class come up to me showing me a wobbly or lost tooth! I usually send them away to tell a different adult about it which is a bit mean as they are usually so excited! I decided to make these little labels and attach to mini envelopes to they have something to take them home in (and so that I might be more suitably excited when presented with a lost tooth!). You can get a copy of the labels by clicking on the picture above.

More Spray Printing!

I think I wrote about these birthday balloons last week. Well I decided I needed something great to store them in and remembered an old scissor holder I had in my cupboard at school but had never used. I thought it would be perfect for storing these gifts in until they were claimed by their owners!

I got the spray paint and turquoise paint out again and gave it a facelift!

Calendar Pack Freebie!

I needed a calendar for my classroom but struggled to find any online that read 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc which is how we display the date in the classroom rather than just the numbers. I made this in my colours (turquoise and lime green) and have included numbers in both ways! They are quite narrow at just 5cm high as that is the space I needed to fill. Days of the week, months, numbers, weather and season labels included. You can get a copy for free until next Monday by clicking on the picture below!

 My Giveaway!

I realised when posting on Friday that my next post (this one) would be my 50th! As I was just finishing up some work on common and proper nouns for my class in September, I decided I would attempt a giveaway (my first so I hope it all works out ok!) of all the word work based products in my TpT store. That means I will be giving away a set of my idioms, common and proper nouns, antonyms and synonyms, collective nouns and compound adjectives activity packs to 3 lucky winners who enter the giveaway!

Hopefully there will be something in there that you will find useful in your class!

If you want to find out a bit more about each product you can look here.

Phew! That was a lot for first thing on a Monday!

Have a great week everyone!

  2. Ok, dear- I think I just media blitzed you! I really like your birthday balloon straws. I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do for my kids this year.
