Five for Friday Freebie

Hello Friday!

Unlike normal Fridays, I am not so happy to see this one as it means the week has flown by and my week off school is coming to an end... However, it does mean I am not exhausted and am linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday on this Halloween Friday!

Washing Machine!

If you have seen some of my Sunday Scoop posts over the last month, you will have seen that 'order a new washing machine' has been on my HAVE to list for quite some time. I am ashamed to say I have been running over to my Mum to do my washing for about a month now... However, I finally ordered my new machine and have been a crazy washerwoman this week with laundry hanging everywhere! Not the most exciting thing to do during half term but definitely satisfying after so long!

Pumpkins

Halloween is not such a big thing over here in the UK as it is across the pond. However, it is growing in popularity and there have been pumpkins galore in the supermarkets! I saw this post about what to do with pumpkins after halloween and hope people to recycle rather than throw away pumpkins once they have served their spooky purpose!

Freebie and a Sale!

We're starting new topics in Science and History on Monday and we always like to start with a good old KWL grid to think about what we know and what to know which we revisit at the end to record what we learned and enjoyed. I have updated the one I usually use with a couple more choices and some of my class struggled to write in the smaller spaces on the A4 sheet. I now have lined and unlined versions and have separate sheets for the 2 questions at the start of the topic and the 2 at the end.

I have put them in my TpT store as a freebie in case you would like them.
Please consider following my store and leaving feedback!

My TpT store is on sale this weekend until November 2nd.
Don't forget to stop by for some lovely treats!

Gorgeous weather

The weather for most of this half term has been gorgeous! I went out on Tuesday to enjoy it - a picnic in the UK in late October is practically unheard of!

Thank you!

Wow - nearly 300 followers on IG! Thank you so much to all my bloglovin' and instagram followers so far!
I will have to sort out another great freebie to celebrate the milestone!

If you are not following me and would like to - then feel free to click on the icons below so that you are (and leave a comment so I can follow you too)!

Have a great Halloween weekend!

  2. Hi Pixie Anne! I appreciate the freebie! Those will be perfect for my social studies class. Loved your picnic pictures! If Halloween does fully catch on in the UK, just beware of how your students will behave the day of and the day after a holiday that is all about candy (that part is NOT fun.) Hopefully by Monday they will all come down off the ceiling.
